What we collect
Timer for Notion collects and stores one piece of information on your device: the Notion access token issued when you authorize the app. This token is stored locally in the app's sandbox container using tauri-plugin-store and is never transmitted to any server other than Notion's own API.
The app also stores your database selection and property mapping locally. This is configuration data only; it contains no personal information beyond the Notion database ID you chose.
What we do not collect
- No analytics or usage data
- No crash reports
- No advertising identifiers
- No data about the content of your Notion databases
- No location, contacts, health, or any other device data
How your Notion token is used
The access token is used solely to make requests to api.notion.com on your behalf — reading your database list, reading property schemas, and creating or updating time entries. All of these requests originate directly from your device; there is no backend server involved.
Third-party services
The app communicates only with Notion's API (api.notion.com). Notion's own privacy policy applies to the data stored in your Notion workspace. We have no relationship with Notion, Inc. and are not affiliated with them.
Data retention and deletion
All local data (token and configuration) is stored in the app's sandbox container at ~/Library/Application Support/com.ulumillsdezudio.timer-for-notion/. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or using the Disconnect option in the app's settings. To revoke Notion's authorization, go to Notion → Settings → Connections and remove Timer for Notion.
Children
Timer for Notion is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
